Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) is one of the leading Professional bodies in our Country. It is a strong professional body having 38 regional centres in all major cities spread across the entire length and breadth of the country. For starting Student Chapter in our Institute, it is essential for us to have Organizational Membership.
Our Institute has joined as Organisation Life member of Indian Concrete Institute in the year 2018. One of the major advantages of becoming an Organizational Member is that, Organizational members will receive ICI-Journal quarterly which carries valuable technical articles. ICI-Update a monthly e-bulletin from ICI, to keep abreast of the happenings in ICI and to know the forthcoming events and access to Job Portal and E-learning portal.

Workshop on Analysis and Design of Structures using STAAD.Pro V8i
One day Workshop on Analysis and Design of Structures using STAAD.Pro V8i was conducted on August 31, 2019. Dr.P.Kathirvel, M.E., Ph.D., Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Kamarajar college of engineering, Virudhunagar was the resource person for this workshop.
Guest Lecture on Modern Materials and Techniques in Structural Engineering
Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Students Chapter Inaugural function and Guest lecture on Modern Materials and Techniques in Structural Engineering was delivered by Er.S.Viswanathan, M.E., Chairman, Indian Concrete Institute Madurai Centre for II, III & IV Year Civil Engineering students on 01.02.2019. In his lecture he briefly explained about various types of modern materials, applications and techniques in Structural Engineering. Also he distributed the ICI Student Membership Certificates to all the ICI Members.
Inaugural function of Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Students Chapter and Anna University approved value added course on Project Planning and Management using Primavera (P6) was conducted on 16.08.2019 and 17.08.2019 at Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. Mr. K. Iyappan, Fuctional Consultant, IBM Global Business Services, Bangalore was invited as the Chief Guest for this inaugural function. Welcome address was given by Mr. Mohammed Mishal Ahmed, Student Secretary of Final year B.E. Civil and Mr. G. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor and Faculty Inchagre of ICI Students Chapter read the annual plan. Introduction about the Chief Guest was given by Ms. Jeyasudha of III year B.E. Civil.
