Math Experts Club
About
Math Experts Club exists to bring together students from all engineering fields who have an interest in mathematics. Math Experts Clubs aim is to create awareness on problem-solving in Mathematics, as well as developing students to enjoy the fruitfulness of Mathematics. It was started on 26th October 2013 by the faculty members of the Department of Mathematics. In every National Science day and Engineers day, Math Experts Club conducts various activities to entertain students with lots of educational stuffs.

GAME ON MATHS
We have conducted a Quiz GAME ON MATHS using the Quizizz platform which enhances the student's interest through animation. Nearly 51 students have actively participated in the event.

REVEALING CALENDAR TRICKS
We have conducted a lecture related to calendar tricks for the I-year students to have some knowledge about the calendar. 100 I-year students have attended the event.
FRESHERS WARMUP QUIZ
We have conducted a Quiz Freshers Warmup Quiz for the I year students through online mode using Kahoot fun platform. 84 students have participated in this fun event.
GUEST LECTURE ON LINEAR ALGEBRA
On behalf of the Department of Mathematics, we have conducted a guest lecture on introduction to linear algebra by Mr. K. Kanagaraj ( Research Scholar from NIT Surathkal, Karnataka) to facilitate the knowledge about the course MA8351 Linear Algebra and Partial Differential Equations on 10.07.2020.

The Math Talent Exam was conducted on 20.05.2020. 20 school students have participated through Google form and submitted their responses.

The Dumb Charade Competition was conducted on 28.02.2020 as one of the events in National Science Day20 by Dr. U. Kumaran, Dr. G. Selvaraj and Mr. T. Selvaganesh on behalf of our Math Experts Club with the help of the students ( P. Nisha, P. Pavithra, G. Vetriranjani from II ECE - A).

BRAIN TWISTER in FUNRITZ192.0
On the account of Math Experts Club conducted Brain Twister event in Funritz192.0 for school students using Kahoot!! on 27.08.2019. It happens to feel the enjoyment of mathematics through some questions with some playable manner. Around 40 students from various schools have participated in this event.

Math Experts Club Inaugural and Guest Lecture
The inaugural function for the academic year 2018-19 was conducted on September 5th, 2018. Chief Guest of the program Dr. K. M. Kathiresan, Professor of Mathematics, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi inaugurated the club. The guest spoke on the amusing facts on mathematical induction. The students were overwhelmed by the interesting puzzles on mathematical induction.

Symposium
State Level Technical Symposium TECHYUGA17 was organized by Ramco Institute of Technology on 12th August, 2017. Mr. Srikanth Balasundaram, Senior Project Manager, Vernalis Systems, Madurai was the chief guest. In this symposium, Math Experts Club a Maths Quiz for School students.
Engineers Day
Engineers Day was celebrated by Ramco Institute of Technology on 15th September, 2017. Mathematics Department conducted Puzzle competition for our college students and school students.
Science Day
National Science Day was celebrated on February 28, 2017. To expose the talents of the students during National Science Day celebration, Model Making and Puzzle competition in Mathematics was conducted to I, II, III and IV year students of RIT

Science Day was celebrated by Ramco Institute of Technology on 28th February, 2018. Mathematics Department conducted Quiz competition for our college students and school students and Dump Charade competition for our college students
