The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) started in the academic year 2025 - 2026, is committed to providing high-quality technical education, research and innovation in the field of Computer Science and the AI domain. In order to give students a solid core foundation in computer science and a thorough understanding of the latest developments in AI and ML technologies. The department offers a four-year undergraduate degree program in B.E. Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.This course prepares students for thriving careers in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and ML domains, which are revolutionizing industries globally and creating a high demand for skilled professionals.
The CSE (AI & ML) curriculum delivers an integration of academic foundations and practical skills, combining modern AI technologies with fundamental computer science and engineering concepts. The curriculum also emphasizes experiential learning through workshops, internships, projects, case studies and group research. The department is equipped with the modern infrastructure supports it, including industry-standards software tools, high-performance computing servers, AI-optimized computer laboratories, and fast internet service. Digital learning platforms such as EdX, Coursera, NPTEL, and MITx are integrated into the program to enhance conceptual understanding and support the continuous upskilling of students through access to advanced courses and global learning resources.
