MSME Incubation

RIT is a recognized Host Institute (HIBITN000705) to act as a Business Incubator for implementing the incubation component of MSME Innovative Scheme, an initiative of Ministry of MSME. The objective of the scheme is to promote and support untapped creativity and to promote adoption of latest technologies in MSMEs that seek the validation of their ideas at the proof-of-concept level. The scheme also supports engagement with enablers who will advise such MSMEs in expanding the business by supporting them in design, strategy and execution. Through 3 editions of Idea Hackathon, 12 ideas have received a seed grant of Rs.1.445 crores. In addition to the seed grant, RIT is eligible to avail Rs.1 crore.
