Four-day Course on Autodesk certified user in Fusion 360 was conducted to II and III Year Mechanical Engineering Students during December 17-20, 2018 in CC-I, CC-II and Mechanical CAD laboratory. Mr. Jerold John Britto, AP/Mech, Mr.S.Maharajan, AP/Mech, Mr.J.Jabinth, AP/Mech, Mr.G.Prabu Ram, AP/Mech, Mr.R.Venkatesh, AP/Mech, Mr.T.Selva Sundar, AP/Mech and Mr.K.Amudhan, AP/Mech were the resource person for this course.
Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the Level II course on Non-Destructive Testing in association with Dynamic Technologies, Trichy during May 10-24, 2018 and July 9-10, 2018. Totally 27 students and 5 Faculty participated in the above programme. The entire programme was carried out in the Mechanical Seminar hall. The resource persons (Dynamic Technologies) gave Lecture on NDT Level II course and Hands-on Training on Visual Test, Liquid Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle Test, Radiographic Film Interpretation and Ultrasonic Test.

Five-day Value Added Course on Creo Parametric Software conducted to III year Mechanical students during May 19-24, 2018. Mr.J.Jerold John Britto, AP/Mech, Mr.S.Valai Ganesh, AP/ Mech and Mr.J.Jabinth, AP/Mech was handled the course. During this course, Sketching, Solid modeling, surface modeling, the assembly was covered during this course. Mr.R.Venkatesh, AP/Mech was coordinated this course.
Five-day Value Added Course on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning conducted to III year Mechanical students during May 19-24,2018 in Thermal Lab, RIT & R & AC Lab, P.A.C.R. Polytechnic College, Rajapalayam. Mr. M. Ashokkumar, AP/Mech, Mr.M.Sivagaminathan@Balaji, AP/Mech,Mr. R. Arunkumar, AP/Mech and Mr. R. Ten-day Training Program on Hydraulics and Pneumatics was conducted to III Year and IV Year Mechanical Students in PACR Polytechnic College during May21-31, 2018. The Major topics covered in this training program are Introduction to fluid power symbols, basic pneumatics, electro pneumatics, hydraulics, and electro hydraulics circuits. The resource persons are Mr. S. Selvakumar Lecturer / Mechanical, Mr. G. Ganeshkumar Lecturer / Mechanical and Mr. M. Muthanantham Lecturer / EEE, P.A.C. Ramsamy Raja Polytechnic College, Rajapalayam Mr.C.Gururaj, AP/Mech coordinated this training program.
One Week value added course on Autodesk Auto CAD 2018 was conducted in Mechanical Engineering CAD laboratory to II year Mechanical Engineering A & B students during June 25-30, 2018. Mr.R.Prabhakaran & Mr.G.Prabu ram were the resource persons for this course. Mr. R. Venkatesh, & Mr. T.Selva Sundar was the faculty coordinators for this program.

Four Day Value added course on 3D Printing and Scanning with GD&T was conducted by Mechanical department in association with to III Year Mechanical Engineering students during November 15-18,2017. Mr. C.Jai Kumar, R & D, Technical Expert, CADD Academy and Mr. Illaya Bharathi, Project Engineer, CADD Academy were the resource person for this programme. 49 students attended and benefited from this program.

Two day Value Added Course on CIROS Virtual Simulation Software was conducted by Department of Mechanical engineering during June 20-21,2017. 17 students from Second year Mechanical, EEE and ECE students attended this course. Dr.S.Kannan, HoD/EEE inaugurated the course and pointed out emerging technologies in todays scenario. Students was trained with PLC basic programming using Codesys Software on day1 followed by MPS Distribution and Testing stations using CIROS software on day 2. Mr.S.Valai Ganesh, AP/Mechanical and Mr.J.Jabinth, AP/Mechanical was the resource person for this course.
