Certification Programme
Ramco Institute of Technology (RIT), in association with Medsby Healthcare and Engineering Solutions, Coimbatore, organized a Three-day Training Programme on 3D Printing during 19 21 October, 2019. Mr. G . Guru Prasandh, CEO & Founder of Medsby Healthcare & Engineering Solutions provided hands-on training on 3D printing technology to 79 students from Civil, CSE, EEE, ECE & Mechanical Engineering departments. Dr.S.Rajakarunakaran, HoD/Mech inaugurated this programme. At the end of the third day, a banner launching event for Innovation challenge 2K19 which is to be held in December, 2019 was held in presence of Mr. G . Guru Prasandh. Dr.L.Ganesan, Principal, Dr.S.Rajakarunkaran, Vice-Principal, Mr.S.Selvaraj, DGM(A), Dr.S.Dharmar, HOD In-charge/Civil, Dr.K.Vijayalakshmi, HoD/CSE, Dr.S.Kannan HoD/EEE and Dr.S.Periyanayagi HoD/ECE were also present. Mr.J.Jerold John Britto AP(Sr.Gr.)/Mech and Mr.A.Ramesh Babu AP/ECE coordinated this programme.
Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the Student software Training Programme on NX-CAD 12 for the duration of 16.08.2019 to 21.09.2019 in Harita Centre of Excellence. The thirty students of final year mechanical engineering have undergone the training with the guidance of Mr.Dhinesh Kumar, Technical Trainer, Harita Techserv Ltd, Coimbatore. The students have learned the basic fundamentals of GD & T, Solid, Surface Modelling and got real time exposure on real time Industrial problems in the design area. Dr.S.Rajakarunakaran, HoD/Mech and Vice Principal has initiated the training programme and Mr.J.Jerold John Britto AP (Sr.Gr.)/Mech, Mr.R.Prabhakaran AP/Mech RIT coordinated the programme.
A Five Day Mechanical CAD Modelling Software Training Programme for Polytechnic students was organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering from 08.04.2019 to 12.04.2019 at Mechanical CAD Laboratory. The main objective of this software training program is to enhance the knowledge of diploma students in the areas of Drawing Interpretations, Part Modeling and Assembly of Components using NX-CAD12. Mr.J.Jerold John Britto, AP(Sr.Gr)/Mech, Mr.R.Prabhakaran,AP/Mech, Mr.R.Venkatesh,AP/Mech coordinated the entire programme. The sessions included lecture as well as hands on training which were handled by Mr.J.Jabinth,AP/Mech, Mr.K.Amudhan, AP/Mech and the coordinators on the topics overview of CAD/CAM/CAE, Sketching, part modelling, assembly and drafting using NX-CAD12.

The Twenty Nine students final mechanical engineering have undergone the training with the guidance of Mr.Dhinesh Kumar, Technical Trainer, Harita Techserv Ltd, Coimbatore. The students are equipped the CAD Modeling software tool and they ready to solve the Industrial problems in the design area. Dr.S.Rajakarunakaran, HoD/Mech and Vice Principal has initiated the training programme and Mr.J.Jerold John Britto AP (Sr.Gr.)/Mech, Mr.R.Prabhakaran AP/Mech RIT coordinated the programme.
