Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in association with IE(I) EE student chapter conducted a Workshop on "MATLAB for Electrical Engineering Applications" on June 21, 2024. The Resource Persons of the program were Mrs. S. Jeyanthi, AP(SG)/EEE, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. Totally, 30 participants from III year Students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated in the Workshop and get benefited.
Department of EEE in association with IE(I) EE student chapter has organised a Workshop on Mastering Technical Writing: From Basics to Ethical AI and illustrations for the EEE students and faculty members on 19.02.2024. The resource person of the program were Mr. Vignesh Kumar and Mr. Kevi Kumar, Engineer, Intnezt, Madurai. Around 25 students and 5 faculty members attended the workshop and get benefited.
Department of EEE in association with IE(I) EE student chapter has organised an Online Guest Lecture on Model, simulate and analyze the performance characteristics of Lead Acid Batteries for EEE Students on 22.11.2023 from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The resource person of the program was Dr. Punitha K, Professor/EEE, P.S.R. Engineering College, Sivakasi. Totally, 50 participants from EEE participated in this programme via Google Meet Platform and benefited from the session.
Department of EEE in association with IE(I) EE student chapter has organised an Online Guest Lecture on Impact of Power Quality Issues in Industrial Applications for EEE Students on 22.04.2023 from 09.00 AM to 10.00 AM. The resource person of the program was Dr. S. Parthasarathy, Professor / EEE, K.L.N. College of Engineering, Pottapalayam. Totally, 80 participants from EEE participated in this programme via Google Meet Platform and benefited from the session.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IEEE student branch successfully conducted a Half Day Workshop on Application of TINKERCAD to Electrical Engineering for I year EEE on 17.11.2022. The resource person was Mrs. S. Jeyanthi, Assisstant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ramco Institute of Technology delivered the workshop. Around 54 students participated in this programme and get benefited.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IE(I) EE student chapter, IEEE student branch and ISTE faculty chapter successfully conducted a One Day Workshop on TinyML for scientific use cases for RIT - faculty members on 25.07.2022. The resource person was Dr. S. Ramasamy, Faculty of Computer Engineering, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia delivered the workshop. Around 28 faculty members participated in this programme and get benefited.
Department of EEE, conducted a Workshop on "Industrial Automation" for the engineering students on the day of the 20th ISTE Convention 26.03.2022. The resource person Mr. E. Thangam, AP(SG) EEE, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam delivered the session. Totally 27 students attended the workshop.
Department of EEE, in association with ISTE faculty chapter conducted a Workshop on "Workshop on AICTE Examination Reforms" for the RIT-EEE faculty members from 24.02.2022 to 25.02.2022. The resource person Mr. A. Arun Kumar, AP/EEE, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam delivered the session. Totally 12 faculty members attended the workshop.

The session was delivered by Mr. Adithyan Annamalai, Imperial College, London. Around 40 students benefited from the program.
Department of EEE Alumni Association, IE (I) & IEEE students chapter organized a webinar on "How to Crack TCS Ninja" for eligible 21 students of IV Year EEE on 08.08.2021. Mr. S. Pon Athiban, (Alumnus 2015-19 Batch) Assistant System Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai acted as the Resource Person and delivered the webinar to the students.
Department of EEE, in association with IE(I) EE student chapter, conducted a Three days Training Programme on Art of Learning for the II EEE students from 04.12.2021 to 06.12.2021. The program was conducted by Prof. C. Muruganantham, Ph.D, Educational Consultant & Founder M/s.New Gen Learner. The students of II year EEE, 61 students actively participated and benefited.
Department of EEE, in association with RIT-Career Guidance Cell, conducted an online awareness program on the topic Opportunities for Higher Education in Aboard for the second year, third year and final year EEE students on 20.09.2021. The session was delivered by Ms. M. Muthu Meenakshi, our distinguished alumna of the batch 2017-2021 and IELTS scorer (7.5 out of 9). Around 40 students benefited from the program.
RIT-Electra, Student Technical association of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ramco Institute of Technology in association with IIC and professional societies ISTE, IE(I) & IEEE organized a webinar on "Huge Career opportunities for EEE Graduates" on 06.08.2021 (Friday) from 06.00 PM to 07.30 PM. Mr. Harisankar KSB, Electrical designer, Sidel India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon has delivered a lecture. He has explained about the various opportunities available for the EEE graduates, the steps to be taken by the students during the course for getting a good career and the top sectors requiring the EEE graduates. Totally 50 students and 5 faculty members have attended the webinar.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in Association with Alumni Association, organized a Webinar on Empower Employment training programme on How to Crack Aptitude for RIT Students on 06.01.2021. The Resource person Mr. R. Muthu Vijaya Kumar who is our Alumni (2015-2019 batch - Civil) trained the students on the topic Time & Work. Around 44 students have actively participated in this event.

The resource person was Dr. M. Raj Kumar, Principle, JP College of Engineering, Tenkasi. He motivated the students for placement drive regarding the recent trends in the industry, the requirement of placement. Around 60 students participated in this event and get benefited.

Department of EEE in association with Energy Conservation Quality Circle (ECQC) in Association with RIT- EEE Alumni Association and RIT- IEEE Student Branch conducted Industry Lecture on Energy Conservation Activities in Industry Premises for students on 04.10.2020 at 10.00 AM. The resource persons for this webinar were Mr. V. Roshan, Assistant Manager E&I, The Ramco Cements Limited, Andhra Pradesh. Around 71 students participated and get benefited.

The Resource Person of the lecture was Dr.R. Karthigaivel, Professor- EEE, PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul.68 Students from EEE actively participated in this webinar.

The resource persons for this webinar were Mr.M.Murali Kumar, Engineer, Firmware Design and Development, Data Patterns India Pvt., Ltd., Chennai. The main objective of this webinar is to impart knowledge about the concept of digital electronics. Around 32 students participated and get benefited.

The total no. of participants registered was 58, from various departments and colleges in our country.

Department of EEE, in association with RIT - IEEE Student chapter and RIT-IE(I) student chapter conducted a workshop MATLAB onramp on 10.03.2020 at Power system simulation laboratory, Ramco Institute of Technology. Around 31 students from various branches have attended the workshop. At the end of the course, the students received an E-certificate from The Mathwoks Inc., USA. The session was handled by Dr. K. Karthikeyan, ASP/EEE.

Department of EEE and Mechanical, in association with RIT - IEEE Student chapter conducted a workshop on Introduction to Raspberry-Pi on 04.02.2020 at PSS Laboratory for II & III EEE students.
Department of EEE organized an awareness Seminar on Outcome Based Accreditation on 07.01.2020 at EEE Seminar Hall. The resource persons were Dr.S.Kannan Prof. & Head/EEE and Dr. K. Karthikeyan ASP/EEE delivered the lecture for EEE students.
An Awareness Program on Mental Health and its Important was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 11.10.2019 from 10.45 AM to 11.30 AM in EEE Seminar Hall. The Resource Person was Dr.C.Ramasubramaniam, M.D, D.P.M, Ph.D., Chairman of M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation, Madurai. Totally 100 students actively participated in this Program.
A one day Workshop on Student Solar ambassador workshop 2019 in association with IIT Bombay was jointly conducted by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering on 02.10.2019 during 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM in Control and Instrumentation laboratory and Engineering Practice Laboratory and Mechanical Seminar Hall respectively. There are 6 faculty members and 4 Lab Technicians from Ramco Institute of Technology guided our students.Totally 100 students actively participated in this workshop.
A One day training programme on Happy Learning was organized by Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam on April 02, 2019. The resource person was Prof.G.Gurubharathy, MS Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai for this program. Around 28 students of II year EEE students were attended the training.
A One day Seminar on Energy Conservation was organized by Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam on March 04, 2019. The speaker for this seminar is Dr. V. Rajasekaran, M.E., Ph.D., (Power Systems) Professor & Head, Dept. of EEE, Head, Dept. of Electrical Maintenance & Erection, Energy Consultant & Certified Energy Auditor (BEE). The II and III year students of EEE department and the members of Energy Conservation Quality Circle (ECQC) were attended the seminar.
A Two day Workshop on Arduino Programming and Hardware from January 11-12, 2019. The resource persons were Mr. A. Arun Kumar, AP/EEE, Mrs.S.Jeyanthi, AP/EEE from RIT, Rajapalayam for this workshop. Around 39 external participants and 02 internal participants were attended the workshop.
A Two day Seminar on Intelligent Electric Power Grid from December 28-29, 2018. The resource persons were Dr. P. Raja, Associate Professor/EEE, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli & Dr. R. Gnanadass, Professor/EEE, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry for this program. Around 11 external participants and 49 internal participants were attended the program.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ramco Institute of Technology (RIT) successfully conducted a one day workshop titled MATLAB Onramp on November 22, 2018. 28 participants from various departments of RIT had registered and participated in this workshop. The Coordinators, Dr. S. Kannan, Professor and Head, and Dr. K. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering had explained the basics of the MATLAB. The participants had done the workshop in the Mathworks website by registering the course. The coordinators facilitated and explained the participants about the course. They clarified the doubts of the participants then and there. Finally all the participants had received the E-certificate from the Mathworks website for successfully completing the workshop.
A Two Day Workshop on Happy Workplace was organised during June 28-29, 2018. The resource persons were Dr.M.Kannan & Prof.G.Gurubharathy, MS Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai for this program. All the non-teaching staffs (Lab Technicians, Office Staffs, Power House Staffs, Drivers, Security, OA, Mess Staffs) of RIT, Rajapalayam attended the program.

The resource persons were Dr.M.Kannan & Prof.G.Gurubharathy, MS Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai for this program. Around 35 faculty members of RIT, Rajapalayam were attended the program.
A 2-Day Hands-on workshop on ArduBotics Robotics was organised by Technex18 Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi in association with Innovians Technologies in our college on 28.07.2017 and 29.07.2017 Innovians Technologies (Unit of PRATS Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) provides workshop on various domains for different Engineering branches on National as well as International Level. This programme was jointly organised by Mechanical and EEE departments.
A 2-Day Hands-on workshop on PCB DESIGN was organised by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 24.08.2014 & 07.09.2014 for II year EEE students. 30 students attended the workshop (I session) on 28.04.2014 and 30 students attended the workshop (II session) on 07.09.2014. PG (M.Tech PED) students of Kalasalingam University, Krishnankoil gave hands-on training on PCB design.
