R.Shrinithi, S.Monica, B.Roshan Ram, Sakthi C R, R.Sarankumar and S.Suruthi, III year ECE students submitted a proposal titled DEVELOPMENT OF COST EFFECTIVE AUTOMATED MACHINE FOR ONION GRADING AND PRESERVATION under the Scheme of AICTE Onion Grand Challenge, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India with the guidance of Dr.A.Lakshmi ASP/ECE, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. Our team has been short listed for stage 1, (Ideation to PoC) on 21.03.2023 and received certificate from Government of India with the financial support of Rs. 75,000/- to develop a proof of concept (PoC) and prize money of Rs.25000. We thank Dr.L.Ganesan, Principal, Dr.S. Rajakarunakaran, Vice principal, Dr.B.Deepa Lakshmi, HOD/ECE and Dr.S.Kannan, HOD/EEE for their constant encouragement and support.

S.Jayalakshmi, III ECE selected for Inter-Group Firing Competition conducted by National Cadet Crops. She scored 100 out of 125 points in the competition.
IITM PALS conducted 3D NexGen Hackathon during 01-08 Mar. 2021. Around 25 students from the ECE department participated in this event and the final results were declared on 08 Mar. 2021.
