GUEST LECTURES
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with RIT IQAC and ISO organised One Day National Level Hands on session on Working with different Color Modes for Web/Social Media / Print Media" on 28 Feb 2022 for Non-teaching staff members in DSP Laboratory. Around 24 Non-teaching staff member from RIT and 3 Non-teaching staff member from Sethu Institute of Technology eagerly participated in this event. The main aim of this event is to enhance how to work with different color modes for web/social media/ print media. Dr.S.Suprakash, Associate Professor, Department of IT, Deputy Director Media and Branding, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil acted as the resource person of this event. Dr. S.Kannan, Professor & Head/EEE, gave the inaugural address. The event was organised by Dr. S.Periyanayagi, Professor & Head / ECE and coordinated by Dr.A.Lakshmi, ASCP/ECE.
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted an Association Valedictory function of RIT-ELECTRONICA in Association with IETE and Organizes a Guest Lecture on AI and Deep Learning Models through Google Meet online platform on August 05, 2021 for all ECE Students. RIT ECE Alumna (2015-2019 Batch) Ms.K.Padmajaya Rekha, Machine Learning Engineer, Optisol Business Solutions Limited, Chennai was the chief guest and acted as a resource person for this function. Around 60 students participated in the Guest lecture. She gave Overview about AI and Deep Learning Models and how to do projects using Deep Learning models. The valedictory function and Guest Lecture was coordinated by Association Incharge Mr. K.Ragavan, AP(SG)/ECE, and Guest Lecture Incharge Mrs.G.Gnana Priya, AP(SG)/ECE under the guidance of convenor Dr.S.Periyanayagi, Prof. & Head/ECE.
A Guest Lecture on Microwave Engineering for IoT was delivered by Mr.Yash Manivannan, Founder and CEO, Watts and Joules Inc. Canada, for III Year ECE students on 20.02.2020. He delivered the Significance of Microwave Engineering for IoT and also gave career guidance to the students.
A Guest Lecture on Applications of Signals & Systems was organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 20.07.2019 for II & III ECE Students. The Speaker for the lecture was Dr.A.Rajeswari, Professor & Head, Department of ECE, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. In her talk she emphasized the importance of signals & system for the developments of engineering applications with specific examples.
Guest Lecture on Communication and Networking was delivered by Mr.S.Satheesh Kumar, IT Executive Engineer - Soft Tek India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, for III Year ECE students on 31.01.2019. He delivered the Significance of VPN, MPLS, Wi-Fi and VoIP in Networks.
A Guest Lecture on Medical Electronics was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 09.02.2019 for III Year ECE Students. The Session was handled by Mr.G.Guru Prasandh, CEO & Founder, Medsby Healthcare & Engineering Solutions, Coimbatore. He delivered the Guest Lecture on the topic Recent Trends in Medical Instrumentation. He explained briefly about the importance of medical instruments, 3D Printing technology in medical fields and Modern prosthetic devices.
Guest Lecture on Electronic Circuits was organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 19.01.2019 for II Year ECE Students. The Session was handled by Mr.M.S.Damodara, Business Manager, Entuple Technologies Private Limited, Bangaluru, delievered the Guest Lecture on the topic Importance of Electronic Circuits and Simulation in Contemporary Industry.
Guest Lecture on Strategies for Success was delivered by eminent personality from leading core company, Bangalore for ECE students during the Inaugural function of RIT-ELECTRONICA on 28.07.2018.
