Anna University approved value-added course on Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Construction that was conducted from 29.01.2024 to 02.02.2024 at Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam for III-year B.E. Civil Engineering students. Er.N.Karthigai Balan, Assistant Executive Engineer, WRD, Regional Quality Control Laboratory, Madurai &Er. M.Ravikumar Senior DGM, L&T Heavy Civil Infrastructure, Chennai and internal faculty members were the resource persons of this event.
Hands-on Training on STAAD.Pro Connect Edition V22 was conducted from 27.01.2023 to 28.01.2023 at the Civil CAD Laboratory, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam, for III and IV year Civil Engineering students. Mr. R. Ganesh Kumar, Senior Structural Consultant, TechApps Consulting, Chennai, was the resource person for this training program.
Two-day Hands-on Training on STAAD.Pro Connect Edition V22 was conducted from 27.06.2023 to 28.06.2023 at CAD Laboratory, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam for III & IVyear Civil Engineering students. Mr. R. Ganesh Kumar, Senior Structural Consultant, TechApps Consulting, Chennai was the resource person for this training program. In this training program, the students were equipped with skills in modeling of buildings, Transmission towers, Truss structures, RCC structures, Load Calculation, Seismic Design, Wind Load calculation, and structural analysis and design as per IS Codes.

Civil Engineering students. Mr. K. Iyappan, Project Lead, IBM India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore was the resource person for this value-added course.
A Value added course on Open Building Designer was conducted from 25.08.2022 to 26.08.2022 at Civil CAD Laboratory, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam for II, III, and IV year B.E. Civil Engineering students. Mr. Akbar Ali Khader, Senior Application Engineer, at TechApps was the resource person for this value-added course.

GATE class on Fluid Mechanics and Machinery was conducted for interested II, III & IV year Civil Engineering students by GATE FORUM, Madurai from 16.12.2019 to 20.12.2019. 28 Students benefited from the training.
Four days Value Added Course on REVIT ARCHITECTURE 2018 was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering from 11.06.2019 to 14.06.2019 for IV year B.E. Civil Engineering students in CAD Laboratory. Mr.G.Karthikeyan AP (SG)/Civil, Mrs.D.Darling Helen Lydia AP/Civil was the resource persons for this course.
A Four day Value Added Course on Staad Pro V8i was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering from 18.06.2018 to 21.06.2018 for IV and III year B.E. Civil Engineering students in the CAD Laboratory. Mr. C.D.R Balaji (Professional Staad Pro trainer) was the resource person.
A Five day Value Added Course on Revit Architecture 2017 was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering from 25.06.2018 to 29.06.2018 for II year B.E. Civil Engineering students in the CAD Laboratory. Mr. R. Muruganantham AP/Civil, Mrs. D. Darling Helen Lydia AP/civil were the resource persons for this course.

A Value Added Course on AUTOCAD 2016 was conducted in our college for II Year Civil Engineering Students from 26.11.2016 to 01.12.2016. During this course, Students were imparted knowledge about how to draft the plan for various types of buildings according to NBC Specifications.
A Value Added Course on REVIT ARCHITECTURE was conducted in our college for III Year Civil Engineering Students from 21.11.2016 to 25.11.2016. During this course, Students were imparted knowledge about how to model the building especially interiors using this software.
A Value Added Course on AUTOCAD 2016 was conducted in our college from 07.12.2015 to 12.12.2015 for II year B.E. Civil Engineering students in CAD Laboratory. Mr.G.Karthikeyan, AP/Civil, Mrs.C.Subha, AP/Civil, was the resource persons for this course.

An International Certification Programme on AutoCAD was conducted from 12.12.2014 to 20.12.2014 to all our II Year Civil Engineering students in association with CADD Technologies, School of Design Private Limited, Coimbatore.
