RIT-Electoral Literacy Club
About the Club:
The Election Commission of India is keen in ensuring the enrolment of all eligible voters in the voter list. To bring awareness to all the firsttime voters, the Election Commission of India is promoting the concept of Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELC) in Schools and Colleges across the country. Through ELC, Election Commission of India aims at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young voters/students. RIT-Electoral Literacy Club was established on 26thSeptember 2022. The core objective of this club is
- To involve and engage the students to educate their voting rights by conducting various programmes.
- To create awareness to first time voters.
- To familiarize the polling registration and voting processes.
