About the Club:
Fine arts and cultural club of our college provides an opportunity to the students to let their imagination run wild and provides them with the sight to see things in a different way. Students learn from one another and share their prowess in different aspects of art.Our club exists to give the students an artistic outlet and helps to enrich and foster an interest for art and personal expression through art. Participation in cultural activities results in enhancement of the personal skills and experiences like confidence, self-presentation, teamwork and collaboration, time management and organizational skills.

Fine Arts and Cultural club organized a Webinar on My Craft My Activity on 18.10.2020 from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm through the online platform Google Meet. The Webinar started with a welcome speech by R.Jenani, IV ECE, and Introduction to the chief guest was given by S.Jeyavarsha of IVECE.
Then the Resource person Mrs.B.Hemalatha, B.Tech, Fashion Designer and craft maker Artika Creations, Bangalore explained to make a Name board using Cardboard, Photo Frame, and Foam Basket using foam sheets. Nearly 105 participants from various schools and colleges participated The participants felt the webinar was very useful and the videos motivated them to make new crafts. Certificates for the participants were sent through mail who have filled the feedback form through Google forms. The webinar ended with a vote of thanks by R.Jenani, IV ECE.
In continuation of this webinar Craft making competition using cardboard was conducted online and participants uploaded the photographs of the crafts made. e-Certificates were provided to all the participants.
Fine Arts and Cultural club in association with ISIE-RIT-SRA conducted painting and Rangoli competitions during the Pongal festival. Twenty students enthusiastically participated in the competitions.

Online Pencil Drawing Competition
Fine Arts and Cultural club of Ramco Institute of Technology conducted an Online Pencil Drawing Competition on the Topic "IMPACTS OF COVID-19" for School students during (08.05.2020 to 20.05.2020) for enriching their intellectual skill. One hundred and seventy seven students from various schools sent their drawings. e-Appreciation certificates will be provided to the best drawings and e-participation certificates will be provided to all participants.

Ten of our III Year ECE students G.NandhiniDevi, S.KarthikaShree, M.AyshaShahana, S.Mahalakshmi, LibiyaJoseph, M.Ponsheela, R.PriyaDharshini, G.JeyaVarsha, M.Dhanalakshmi, A.Pooja accompanied by Dr.L.Sathikala, ASCP/Mathematics and Mrs.V.Prabha/Lab Technician participated in the Dance competition at A.K.D.Dharmaraja Womens College, Rajapalayam on 25.01.2020 on the occasion of National Voters Day celebration .Dr.R.KANNAN, IAS, Collector of Virudhunagar District presided over the Function.

INAUGURATION OF FINEARTS & CULTURAL CLUB
Mrs.KavithaJawahar, M.Com,B.Lit, Orator and Motivational Speaker, Senior Manager, Reliance Life Insurance, Rajapalayam inaugurated and motivated the students.
A debate was planned on the topic Indraiya Maanavarkal sellum Pathai Sigarathai Nokiya? Sirramangalai Nokiya? in which the chief guest has chaired the debate, where she motivated youngsters to have a dream and work hard in making those dreams to come true.
Singing competition was conducted on 06.10.2018 in ECE Seminar hall.

FUNRITZ 19
As a part of our Ramco Institute of Technology Extra-curricular Activity Program, FUNRITZ19 An edutainment programme for school students was arranged in our campus on 30-01-19. The program was inaugurated with the presence of our Vice-principal Dr.S.Rajakarunakaran, Extra-curricular activities coordinator Dr.K.BasariKodi, Co-ordinators: Dr.O.Senthilkumar and Mrs.A.PremAnandhi. On behalf of the RIT-Fine Arts and Cultural club, the events Pencil Drawing on the Topic Nature and Art from waste were arranged and conducted by the club co-ordinator and student representatives in Library and Drawing Hall-I. School students from Virudhunagar and Tirunelveli districts participated in the event and submitted their photos taken in our college campus. Dr.P.Arujunan, M.B.B.S. Psychiatrist, Seithur has given a motivational lecture to all the school students and encouraged the students to participate extracurricular and co-curricular activities to express their mind and creativity and enhance their talents with the objective of empowering the engineering students to use their knowledge in current and future aspects .Prizes were distributed to the students in the valedictory function FUNRITZ19 by the Chief guestDr.P.Arujunan, M.B.B.S.Psychiatrist, Seithur.
