Yoga Club


Yoga practice increase fitness, improve flexibility and general health, help to reduce stress, frustration and anxiety. Yoga helps improve the relationship between mind and body, developing a feeling of inner peace. Yoga Club aim is to create awareness on Yoga. It was started on 21st June 2018. In every International Yoga day Yoga Club conducts various activities to entertain students related with yoga.

During the Student Induction Program 2021 (From 20.10.2021 to 08.11.2021) a team (Conducting Yogaveera Smt. Rama Thilagam, Supporting Yogaveeras Sri Suresh, Sri Mahendran & Sri Suresh) of Isha Yoga Group came to our college to teach Yoga to the first year students of B.E/B.Tech. During this session Yoga Teachers gave them a demonstration and instructed the students to practice it regularly. Yoga includes Seven methods to practice every day in order to lead a happy life.

Dr.P.Venkumar B.E., M.E., Ph.D., M.Sc(Yoga), SKY professor, Vision for Wisdom, Aliyar delivered a lecture on Happiness Unlimited for the first year students of B.E/B.Tech on 27.10.2021. He discussed with the students about how to be happy in our life. He said that health is the important factor to be happy in our life. He explained how to maintain the health of our body and mind.
