PYTHON LABORATORY
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has a well-established Python Laboratory exclusively. Python laboratory provides essential facilities to the students to enhance their knowledge in Python Programming and designing Database Management Systems. The Laboratory is supported by CSR fund of The Ramco Cements Limited, Chennai. The Laboratory is well equipped with 36 Dell OptiPlex 3000 Tower: 12 th Generation Intel Core i5 (6 cores), 32GB DDR4 Non-ECC Memory, 256 GB PCIeNVMe Class 35 Solid State Drive, 1 TB 7200rpm Hard Disk Drive, 21.5 Monitor, Intel Integrated Graphics Internal Antenna, Intel WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Card, HP Laser Printers, Centralized UPS system, 48 port Juniper Manageable Switches and unlimited internet facility in an Air Conditioned environment. The Data Centre and all computers are connected via the network. Problem Solving and Python Programming and Database Management Systems Lab courses are conducted in this Laboratory.
DATA STRUCTURES LABORATORY

Data Structures laboratory provides essential facilities to the students to enhance their knowledge in designing linear and non-linear data structures using python and implement Artificial Intelligence algorithms. The Laboratory is supported by CSR fund of The Ramco Cements Limited, Chennai. MACHINE LEARNING AND DEEP LEARNING LABORATORY
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science boasts a well-established Machine Learning and Deep Learning Laboratory (ML/DL Lab) exclusively dedicated to providing essential facilities for students to enhance their knowledge in various areas such as Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, AI Model Evaluation and Validation, Neural Networks, Deep Learning Frameworks, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), Generative Models, Transfer Learning, Hyperparameter Optimization, and Deployment and Optimization.
The Laboratory is equipped with 66 Intel Core i9 Dell systems, each configured with OptiPlex 7000 MT Desktop: 12th Generation Intel Core i9-12900 2.40GHz (16 cores / 30MB / 24T), 32GB DDR5 RAM, BC901 NVMe 5K hynix 512GB SSD, 22 Monitor E2222H, Intel UHD Graphics 770, MediaTek Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Intel Ethernet connection (17) 1219-LM, Trusted Platform Module 2.0 Security Device, Intel USB 3.20 extensible Host Controller 1.20 (Microsoft), Communication Port (COM1), Intel Active Management Technology SOL (COM3), along with HP Laser Printers, a centralized UPS system, 48-port Juniper Manageable Switches, and unlimited internet accessall within an air-conditioned environment. Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep learning, and streaming process Lab courses are conducted in this laboratory.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure for research, dedicated to providing solutions for societal problems. Our research facilities include 10 Intel Core i7/i5 HP/Dell systems, each configured with 12th Generation Intel Core i7-2.40GHz (16 cores / 30MB / 24T), 32GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD, 22 Monitors, Intel UHD Graphics, MediaTek Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Trusted Platform Module 2.0 Security Device, Intel USB 3.20 extensible Host Controller (Microsoft), Communication Port (COM1), and Intel Active Management Technology SOL (COM3).
Our department's research supervisors and scholars have published over 30 publications in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT, Healthcare Analytics, AI in Quantum Computing, etc., fostering knowledge dissemination and research findings among peers. We also nurture skilled students through internship projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. We offer solutions to industry challenges through consultancy services or student internships as per the terms outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with various industries.
