Six days Value added Course on Advanced JAVA
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology is proud to present a distinguished Value added Couse on Advanced Java, scheduled from 21st JULYto 4th August 2025 for the 118 final year students. This intensive program is meticulously designed to impart profound expertise in advanced Java programming, blending theoretical foundations with practical, industry-oriented applications. Esteemed resource person Mr. Karunanithi Raj, Chief Technical Programmer at Silicon Software Services Pvt. Ltd., had conducted the sessions, offering invaluable insights drawn from his extensive professional experience. The initiative is spearheaded by coordinators Mr. M. Ramnath AP/AD, Mr. R. Muthu Eshwaran AP/AD, and Mr. P. Vetrivel AP/AD, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. M. Kaliappan, Professor and Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Organizing Secretary Dr. E. Mariappan. ASP/AD The course was well-received by the participants and significantly contributed to their advanced programming skills.
Five days Value added Course on JAVA Programming
A Five days Value added course on Java Programming was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from 27.01.2025 to 31.01.2025 for II year AIDS Students . The Sessions were handled by the Internal Faculty member (Dr.M.Kaliappan, Mrs.R.Angel Hephzibah, Mrs.C. Karpagavalli, Mrs.K Amuthachenthiru, Mrs.R.Ramana, Mrs.S.Pradeepha, Mrs.M.Santikala, MS.V. Logapriya). They trained the students in basic concepts of core java such as oops concepts, Constructors, method overloading, Inheritance, Packages, Interfaces and exceptional handling etc. This event was successfully coordinated by Mrs.C.Karpagavalli and Mrs.K.Amuthachenthiru under the guidance of Dr.M.Kaliappan Professor/Head Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

A six-days Value-Added Course on "Advanced Aptitude Training Program" was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. The course was conducted from October 14, 2024, to October 19, 2024, for third-year B Section students, and from October 21, 2024, to October 26, 2024, for third-year A Section student. Mr. J. Sankar, Aptitude Trainer at Silicon Software Services, Madurai, served as the resource person for the program. Dr. M. Kaliappan, Professor and Head of the Department, delivered the inaugural address.

A five-day Value-Added Course on "Advanced Aptitude Training Program" was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. The course took place on August 6, 2024, August 8, 2024, and from August 12, 2024, to August 14, 2024, for fourth-year students. Mr. J. Sankar, Aptitude Trainer at Silicon Software Services, Madurai, served as the resource person. Dr. M. Kaliappan, Professor and Head of the Department, gave the opening remarks.
Four Days Value added Course on JAVA Programming
A four-day Value-Added Course on "JAVA Programming" was conducted for fourth-year students by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology, from July 8, 2024, to July 11, 2024. The students acquired knowledge of core Java concepts, including OOPs principles, constructors, overloading, inheritance, packages, interfaces, and exception handling. The sessions were led by internal faculty members: Dr. M. Kaliappan, Mr. R. Ramnath, Mrs. C. Karpagavalli, Mrs. S. JothiLakshmi, and Mrs. B. Sankaralakshmi. This course was seamlessly coordinated by B. Revathi, under the guidance of Dr. M. Kaliappan, Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Value Added Course on C programming
A Value-Added Course on C Programming was conducted by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology from March 9, 2024, to April 4, 2024, for second-year students. The sessions were led by internal faculty members: Dr. M. Kaliappan, Mrs. B. Revathi, and Mrs. C. Karpagavalli. The students acquired valuable knowledge of procedural programming concepts, including arrays, pointers, structures, dynamic memory allocation, file handling, and more.
Three days value added course on TCS Company Specific Programming Training
A three-day Value-Added Course on TCS Company-Specific Programming Training was conducted by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology from March 9, 2024, to April 4, 2024, for second-year students. The sessions were led by internal faculty members Ms. K. Amuthachenthiru and Mr. M. Ramnath. The students gained valuable insights into OOPs concepts, the basics of data structures, and quantitative aptitude.
Four-Day Value-Added Course on OOPs, Data Analytics Using R, and Machine Learning
A Four-day Value-Added Course on OOPs, Data Analytics using R and Machine Learning and its techniques was conducted by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology from Jan 18, 2023, to Jan 21, 2023, for second-year students. The sessions were led by internal faculty members Dr.M.Kaliappan, Dr.S.Vimal, Mrs.B.Revathi and Ms.S.Selva Birunda. The students gained valuable insights into OOPs concepts, the basics of data Analytics, and Machine learning models, algorithms and more.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology (RIT) recently organized a Value added course collaborated with ICT Academy on Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst Associate from January 29 to February 2, 2024 for third year students. Third-year student Ms. Nishanthini S delivered an insightful introduction about the distinguished speaker, Mr. Ganesh Manchi. The Value added Course covered a spectrum of topics, including data analysis fundamentals, Power BI functionalities, visualization techniques, - Introduction to DAX in Power BI Desktop, Work with time intelligence Create a Power BI dashboard, Introduction to paginated reports, create a paginated report, and Configure incremental refresh settings, Manageand promote datasets. Coordinated by Ms. S. Selva Birunda and Mrs. C. Usharani, both AP/AD. The event saw active participation from third-year students. It's excellent that the Value Added course concluded with feedback from participants G.Nithya Lakshmi and Mukesh S, providing valuable insights for improvement. The vote of thanks delivered by Ms. N K S Jeya expresses gratitude for the enriching and informative session, highlighting the collaborative efforts of all involved parties.
