The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in collaboration with Neoteric AI, hosted a one-day workshop on "Java API & Its Applications" for final-year AI & DS students on 15 Feb 2025 The session kicked off with a warm welcome and an introduction to the chief guest by Abirami S., a final-year AI & DS student. The highlight of the workshop was an interactive session led by Mr. Dhiraj, Senior Software Developer at ZOHO, Madurai, who shared valuable insights on real-world Java applications. The event wrapped up with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Geetha, another final-year AI & DS student.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramco Institute of Technology successfully hosted a webinar titled "The Road to React: The One with Hooks" on February 7, 2025 for III year students.The session was conducted by Ms. S. Gowri, Assistant Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore. The session offered valuable insights into modern front-end development techniques, enhancing students' understanding of React's modular and efficient approach to building dynamic web applications.The webinar proved to be an engaging and insightful experience, equipping participants with industry-relevant React skills for modern web development
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science recently organized a one-day workshop on "Artificial Intelligence Case Study and Implementation" for 65 second-year AI&DS students. The session began with a warm welcome and introduction of the chief guest by Varshini Shri, a second-year AI&DS student. The workshop's highlight was an engaging hands-on session conducted by Mr. B. Saravana Kumar, Director & CEO of ICONIX Software Solutions, Tirunelveli, who shared insightful content on real-world AI implementations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vennila, another second-year AI&DS student.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized an insightful webinar titled "Programming Kick Start on C" on 18th October 2024 at 10 A.M, for 59 third-year AI&DS students. Delight Cherubino, a second-year AI&DS student, warmly welcomed the participants and introduced the chief guest, Dr. S. Sumathi, Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Sri Eswar College of Engineering, Coimbatore. Dr. Sumathi delivered a highly engaging session, sharing valuable insights into C programming. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Sri Varshini, another second-year AI&DS student.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in collaboration with the Career Guidance Cell, organized a webinar titled "Mastering GATE: From Syllabus to Success" on 15th October 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The session featured Mr.Arun A, Senior Design Engineer at HCL, California, and GATE Rank 4 holder, who shared insightful strategies and essential guidance for excelling in the GATE exam. Swetha, a third-year AI & DS student, introduced the chief guest and delivered the vote of thanks. The webinar was highly beneficial for students aiming to succeed in GATE.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science conducted an insightful webinar on August 4, 2024, from 7 to 8 P.M., focusing on Quantitative Aptitude, led by Mr. Aravind Krishnan, a Senior Aptitude Trainer from SiliconSoftware Solutions, Madurai. The session, attended by 44 final year students, began with a welcome address by Dr. M. Kaliappan, Head of the AIDS Department. Mr. Krishnan's engaging presentation covered key quantitative topics and problem-solving strategies, offering practical tips for competitive exams. The interactive format allowed students to solve problems in real-time and receive personalized feedback. The event concluded with a Q&A session, feedback, and a vote of thanks delivered by Ponjose, a final year student, leaving participants motivated and better prepared for future aptitude challenges.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, organized a highly successful One Day Workshop on Java Programming for IV Year Students on 2nd August 2024. The event featured Mr. Rajendran Subramanian, Founder & CEO of Silicon Software Services, Madurai, as the resource person. Mrs. G. Kavitha, Assistant Professor, welcomed the gathering, and Dr. M. Kaliappan, Professor & Head of the department, inaugurated the workshop. Mr. Rajendran provided an in-depth foundation in Java programming, solving various problem statements to prepare students for placement drives. The comprehensive workshop, attended by 55 students, was well-received for its balanced theory and practical assessment coverage. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. P. The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, organized a week-long workshop on Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst Associate with ICT Academy, for Second Year (A & B)AIDS students from 04.03.2024 to 15.03.2024. The workshop aimed to equip students with essential skills in data analysis using Power BI. Facilitated by expert ASIF RAJA, Senior Technical Trainer, CT Academy. The workshop covered modules such as getting started with Microsoft data analytics, data preparation, modelling, visualization, data analysis, and workspace and dataset management in Power BI. The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of Power BI's capabilities, enabling them to leverage data effectively for informed decision-making. Participants gained practical experience in manipulating data, creating insightful visualizations, and deriving meaningful insights through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios. By acquiring skills aligned with the Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, students are better prepared to excel in the dynamic field of data analysis and contribute meaningfully to organizations' data-driven initiatives. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, students were immersed in various aspects of Power BI, including working with data, utilizing DAX functions, creating reports and dashboards, performing data analysis, and managing workspaces and datasets. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nithyashree and valuable feedback from Swetha and Thaarunkumar.

Facilitated by expert Ganesh Manchi, Microsoft Certified Specialist (so far trained around 8000 employees of various industries, like, Engineering, Pharma, IT, ITeS, Industry Automation, Chemical & Coir Areas) Expert in PowerBI, Google Onlooker Studio, Chat GPT & other AI Tools,the workshop covered modules such as getting started with Microsoft data analytics, data preparation, modelling, visualization, data analysis, and workspace and dataset management in Power BI. The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of Power BI's capabilities, enabling them to leverage data effectively for informed decision-making. Participants gained practical experience in manipulating data, creating insightful visualizations, and deriving meaningful insights through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios. Dr. M. Kaliappan, Prof & Head of the department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, introduced Kishore, an esteemed Enterprise Consultant from LIQVID e-Learning Services Pvt. Ltd., Noida, as the chief guest. Kishore delivered a compelling session, unraveling the intricacies of Business Analytics and Intelligence. During the seminar, Kishore emphasized the transformative role of business analytics and intelligence in enhancing decision-making processes within organizations. He highlighted the practical applications of data-driven insights in optimizing operational efficiency, predicting market trends, and mitigating risks. Furthermore, the seminar shed light on the increasing demand for professionals skilled in business analytics and intelligence across various industries. Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in association with Analytics Society of India and Career Guidance cell organized a webinar on AI/ML & GEN AI SERVICES IN AWS & ITS OPPORTUNITIES on 20.01.2024 at 09.00 A.M for Ist , IInd & IIIrd year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students. Karthika Lakshmi, IInd year, AI & DS welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction about resource person. The resource person of the program is Mr Balaji Subranian,Concordia University-ST.PAUL,Minnesita,USA. He delved into a comprehensive array of topics in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. His insightful presentation covered a spectrum of subjects, including Amazon Transcribe use cases and features, an exploration of Amazon Lex and Amazon Recognition, the application of Python-based regular expressions for detecting word patterns, the utilization of the Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) for text processing, the implementation of the Word2Vec model, the use of transformers for classification, the intricacies of chatbot design incorporating a simple dialog system, and the development of a speech recognition system. This multifaceted discussion provided a holistic view of the diverse facets within the realm of AI and ML, offering valuable insights to the attendees. Malliga, Professor, Department of CSE, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research(NITTR), Chennai, Dr.E.Sivasankar, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, Dr M.Kaliappan, Professor and Head, Department of AD, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam has delivered a lecture on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) inspired Learning approaches using Data Analytics for Education System. Totally 40 faculty members and students participated in the Seminar. Mrs. B. The program has been covered with carrier path in computer networks. He discussed about the advanced networking technologies like Wi-Fi 6, AI enablement, 5G cellular and Network automation. One day seminar on Trend and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was held at Ramco Institute of Technology, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science on 25th August, 2022.
