Value Added Course
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with RIT- Computer Society of India, organized value added course in the topic of Responsive sliding login and registration forms using Web development on 21.10.2024 to 25.10.2024 (5 days) and 07.11.2024 to 19.11.2024 (10 days) at 04.30 pm to 06.30 pm. The objective of this program is to equip I-Year B.Tech CSBS students with hands-on experience in developing responsive sliding login and registration forms using modern web development techniques, enhancing their frontend and backend skills.
A fifteen-day value-added course on Responsive Sliding Login and Registration Forms Using Web Development was successfully conducted for I-Year B.Tech CSBS students. The primary objective of the course was to equip students with fundamental and advanced concepts of front-end and back-end web development, focusing on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Through hands-on sessions, students learned how to create dynamic and interactive login and registration forms with responsive designs suitable for various devices.
Throughout the 30-hour training program, students actively participated in live coding sessions, troubleshooting exercises, and collaborative development tasks. They explored various web frameworks to enhance their designs and improve the user experience. Practical demonstrations helped students understand the importance of responsiveness, animations, and modern design trends in web applications. Assessments and interactive discussions further solidified their learning, allowing them to apply the concepts in real-time scenarios. The value-added course provided a strong foundation in web development, empowering students to develop innovative and user-friendly applications in the future.
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ, organized a Short Term Training Program & Hackathon on the topic of Business Insights with Internet of Things from 14.02.2025 to 20.02.2025 at 9.00 AM to 04.30 PM. The Resource Persons are Dr.N.Pothirajan, Harshan Medicare, Rajapalayam, Mr.N.Ananda Bharathi,III-CSBS, Mr.P.Aravindraj,III-CSBS, Mr.B.Arumugam,III-CSBS and Mr.M.Manojkumar,II-CSBS. This STTP was conducted to provide an in-depth understanding of IoT architecture, components, real-time applications, and communication protocols. The sessions were structured to give both theoretical and practical insights into IoT, covering aspects ranging from fundamental concepts to real-world applications. students had gained foundational knowledge of IoT concepts, components, and architecture. They understood sensor integration, data communication, and basic microcontroller programming. They had hands-on experience with IoT devices and were able to design simple IoT applications, fostering interest in real-world technology solutions. The Student event coordinator was Mr.G.Kathirvel,II-CSBS and Ms.G.Kaavya Dharshini,II-CSBS. The faculty event coordinator was Mrs.K.Usharani, AP/CSBS and Mrs.B.Yazhini, AP/CSBS.
The Value Added Course on Microsoft Power BI Analytics PL-300-Microsoft Certification through ICT Academy was organised from 04.03.2024 to 08.03.2024 for the II Year B.Tech. CSBS students. Mr.Aashu Dev ,Educator and Trainer from ICT Academy was the resource person. He delivered the lecture about POWERBI Dashboard, Cloud and also about the data retrieval in Open source, AWS, Azure cloud etc., 40 students were participated and learned about POWER BI Analytics.The event was coordinated by the student coordinators Mr.J.Saravana Kumar and V.Anusuya from II Year CSBS and faculty co-ordinators Mrs.K.Usha Rani and Mrs.B.Yazhini under the guidance of Dr.M.Gomathy Nayagam, Head/CSBS.
The Value Added Course on Business Application Project Development using C programming in association with ACM student chapter was organised from 19.02.2024 to 22.02.2024 for a batch of I year B.Tech CSBS students. Around 15 students were gained knowledge about C Programming .This event was handled by the faculty members of department of CSBS. They trained the students practically in basic fundamentals of C programming, Looping techniques, learning about variables, data types, conditional statements in C language. This event was organised by the student co-ordinators Ms.K.Nithikashree and Mr.G.Kathirvel from I Year CSBS and faculty Co-ordinators Dr.S.Erana Verappa Dinesh and Mrs.B.Yazhini under the guidance of Dr.M.Gomathy Nayagam, Head/CSBS.
