About RIT-TECHNEBIZ

RIT-TECHNEBIZ is the student association of Computer Science and Business Systems. RIT-TECHNEBIZ was started in the academic year 2022-2023. It serves as a forum for students to share their technical expertise and original ideas with one another so they can advance in the fields of computer science and business systems. The skill sets of the aspiring engineers are improved, allowing them to succeed in their future activities. The goal of TECHNEBIZ is to expose students to a variety of extracurricular activities, such as symposiums, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, etc.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ, organized an event in the topic of Bootcamp on UI/UX on 12.04.2025 at 1.55 PM to 4.30 PM. The UI/UX Bootcamp, organized by RIT-Technebiz, served as a hands-on, interactive session designed to help students dive into the world of digital design. The primary objective of the UI/UX Bootcamp, organized by RIT-Technebiz under the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), Ramco Institute of Technology, was to introduce students to the fundamentals of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design. The program aimed to develop user-centric thinking, design skills, and familiarity with professional tools, thereby preparing students for industry demands. The Student event coordinator was Vignesh R (III CSBS), Bala Vignesh S (II CSBS), Kathirvel G (II CSBS). The faculty event coordinator was Mrs.B.Yazhini, AP/CSBS.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a non-technical event Canva Clash on 27.03.2025 at 03.30 PM. The event focused on unleashing creativity through poster and banner designing based on thought-provoking themes. Participants showcased their artistic skills and visual storytelling abilities using digital tools. The students demonstrated their digital design skills using platforms like Canva. They incorporated impactful color schemes, typography, and visuals that conveyed strong messages. Many designs featured real-world inspiration, incorporating modern trends and cultural elements to make their ideas stand out. Judges appreciated the clarity of thought, originality, and the story each design conveyed. Students explained the rationale behind their designs, emphasizing how visual media can influence public opinion, marketing, and awareness campaigns. The event also served as a great learning platform, highlighting the growing importance of design thinking in both business and technology sectors. The colorful and impactful designs captured the attention of the audience and were appreciated with cheers and applause. The event was successfully organized by I Year B.Tech. CSBS students. The event was coordinated by Dr S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, ASP/CSBS.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ, organized an event titled Group Discussion on 20.03.2025 at 12.20 PM 01.05 PM. This group discussion for the Computer Science and Business Systems students aims to create an engaging and interactive learning environment beyond the typical lecture format. By actively participating in the discussion, students will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of a chosen topic through collaborative exploration and the exchange of diverse perspectives. This activity is designed to foster critical thinking skills as students analyze information, formulate their own arguments, and respond to the ideas of their peers. Furthermore, it provides a valuable platform for honing communication and interpersonal skills, requiring students to articulate their thoughts clearly and respectfully engage in dialogue, even when differing viewpoints arise. Ultimately, this session intends to move beyond passive learning, encouraging students to actively construct knowledge, develop their analytical abilities, and enhance their capacity for effective communication within a group setting, all crucial skills for their future academic and professional endeavors in the field of computer science and business systems.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ, organized an interactive adventure event titled Pirate Adventure on 11.11.2024 at 2:40 pm. This non-technical event encouraged students to embark on a quest for hidden treasure, promoting teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teams were provided with clues which guided them through various stages of the adventure. Each clue required careful decoding and collaborative brainstorming, encouraging participants to work together and leverage each other's strengths. The clues were cleverly crafted to test a range of skills, including problem-solving and lateral thinking. Students In-charge monitored the activity, emphasizing the importance of quick thinking. The event concluded with an intense five clues, where the winning team unlocked the last clue and successfully claimed the treasure. Organized successfully by I and III Year B.Tech. CSBS students, the event aimed to foster camaraderie and creativity in a fun, gamified environment. The event was coordinated by Ms. Preethi Ram, AP/CSBS.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a GUEST LECTURE on 17.10.2024 (Thursday) under the topic AI Application with help of Python Programming which was presented by Mr.C.Arunachalam, Senior Engineer Data & Analytics, Aspire System, Siruseri IT Park, Chennai about 78 students participated in this guest lecture. The lecture aimed to explore about basics of the Artificial Intelligence and about python programming and also how AI application is used in the python programming in the industry side and highlighting its significance in modern data-driven decision-making processes. The lecturer concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where attendees actively participated by seeking clarifications and sharing insights from their experiences. Discussions revolved around practical use cases, implementation challenges, and emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence. This event was organised by Mr.S.Siva Karthick, III CSBS, Ms.S.Varshini, III CSBs, Mr.P.Gowtham, II CSBS, Ms.A.Dharshini, II CSBS.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ Organized a non-technical event Technical Debate on 15.10.2024. Students are divided into two teams with a size of 12. The topic given for discussion is Business or job after college which is best for students. Points presented were accepted by the spectators with cheers and claps. Some of the points even made us think about the facts. Event Coordinators appreciated the students who made their point loud and clear. This event was organized successfully by II year CSBS students. This event was organised by Mr. Pradeep, II CSBS, Ms. Gayathri , II CSBS, Ms.Rumana Nachiyar, III CSBS and Mr.S.A.Nagaraj, III CSBS and guided by Faculty co-ordinator Ms.M.Preethi Ram,AP/CSBS.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized an event on 23.09.2024 (Monday) under the topic Business Advertisement which was. About 32 students participated in this event. The students are formed into group. Each group have maximum of three students. In first round, the participates presented their business advertisement ideas for the given title by the students coordinator. The students shared their business advertising ideas in front of all the participants. The participants team were shortlisted based on their ideas, presentation and team work. For second round, the students were given a topic and provided them particular time to prepare their own posters. The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, RIT inaugurated the TECHNEBIZ association on 20.09.2024 (Friday). Mr. K V Kaushik Venkateswar, Multifaceted HR Professional, Atsuya Technology, Chennai was the chief guest of the function and delivered the chief guest address. He also delivered a Guest Lecture on The value of lifelong learning, career exploration and planning. Totally 162 students of Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have participated in an Inaugural function. The office bearers of RIT-TECHNEBIZ were introduced and the secretary of RIT-CSBS-Technibiz Mr. Vignesh from III CSBS Elaborated the annual plan of TECHNEBIZ association. Department of Computer Science and Business Systems and RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a motivational talk on Career Development on Engineering for I Year CSBS students. This inaugration and guest-lecture was organized by Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, AP/CSBS and Mrs.B.Yazhini AP/CSBS under the guidance of Dr.M.GomathyNayagam. Head/CSBS. In this event the TECHNIBIZ association magazine was released by the chief guest. The resource person agenda is to elaborate on the Career development for thoughtful self-assessment, career exploration, planning and follow-through with preliminary employment strategies of the computer science and business system. Students were excited to learn the diverse engineering roles from him. He showed a road map to students, on how to plan and practice and succeed in careers. He motivated the students to decide the focus, read more about it and do some certification to get more skills in the area. The students interacted with the speaker well and they felt the talk is much valuable and needed by every student. They were all attentive and enjoyed the whole session.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized an event on 12.09.2024 (Thursday) under the topic Fact Feista. The students are divided into two team with a size of 9 and the topic is posted to them. The students from each team presented their views very clearly and enthusiastically. The students shared many real time examples and case studies for the usage of technology for the wellbeing of the human. Similarly, they opposed the points from other teams in a polite way with a valid reason. They have pointed out how the technology is mishandled by the people for making crime and other unwanted activities. Some of the points even made us think about the facts. This event was organized by Mr.V.Akash, III CSBS, Ms.G.Gayathri Meena, III CSBs, Mr.R.Perumal Dharshan, II CSBS, Ms. O.J.Mufrin Ashika, II CSBS. Events organized 2023-2024

RIT TECHNEBIZ organized an insightful guest lecture titled "Building Your Professional Portfolio" aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to create an impressive professional portfolio. The event was conducted on 14.06.2024 (Friday), featuring Ms. Uthra K.B., Training and Placement Officer, as the resource person. Totally 55 students of II CSBS participated. This witnessed enthusiastic participation from students eager to enhance their professional profiles. Ms. Uthra K.B., began by explaining the fundamental components of a professional portfolio, such as resumes, cover letters, project descriptions, and work samples. She highlighted the significance of an organized and aesthetically pleasing layout and shared tips on building the portfolio. She also provided valuable advice on creating impactful content by effectively articulating experiences, achievements, and skills, and including quantifiable results and specific examples. The importance of customizing portfolios for different job applications was also discussed.

RIT TECHNEBIZ recently organized an insightful lecture titled "Knowledge Sharing Session on 3D Printing" aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge in 3D Printing Technology. The event was conducted on 31.05.2024(Friday), featuring Mr . M Saru Nikethan Muthiah II CSBS, Mr S Mohamed Sameer II CSBS, Mr. V Vasudev II CSBS as the resource persons.Totally 62 students of I CSBS participated. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from students eager to enhance their knowledge in 3D Printing technology. Mr. Saru Nikethan Muthiah shares an important of the 3D printing technology in futuristic world and Evolution of 3D Printing: From Concept to Cutting-Edge Technology by the presentation after Mr. Mohamed Sameer exchange Applications of 3D printing and Revolutionizing Industries: Applications and Impact of 3D Printing and Mr. Vasudev provide a knowledge Future Trends in 3D Printing specifically Beyond the Horizon: Emerging Technologies. Overall this guest lecture provided valuable advice on creating impactful content by effectively articulating experiences, achievements, and skills, and including quantifiable results and specific examples.

The TECHNEBIZ association organized an event named Business Exchange Auction on 13.04.2024 (Saturday). The aim of this event is providing businesses with a platform to buy and sell various assets through a competitive bidding process. The event sought to facilitate efficient transactions and promote market liquidity. It was organized by the student coordinators Mr. S.Rohith (II CSBS), Mr. S.Sanjay (II CSBS).. A total of 25 Students from various department participated in the auction, acting as both buyers and sellers. The Business Exchange Auction facilitated successful transactions between participating businesses, enabling them to efficiently exchange assets and optimize resource utilization. Participants also benefited from networking opportunities and gained insights into market trends and dynamic. The TECHNEBIZ association organized a Technical event named AD TECH SUMMIT on 26.03.2024 (Tuesday) with the idea of "Instant Advertisement of both technical and non-technical products". This event aimed to enhance students creative thinking skills, audience interaction and public attraction for product sales. It was organized by the student coordinators Mr. S.A. Nagaraj (II CSBS), Ms. S. Shaly (II CSBS), Mr. V. Yashwin (I CSBS) and Ms. P. Siva ranjani (I CSBS). Faculty Coordinator Ms. K. Usharani took charge of the event and provided guidance. Different opinions and viewpoints based on the products were welcomed. A total of 16 students from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems participated in the event. The winners are Ms.Surabhi, Ms.Kritika, Ms.Priyadharshini, II CSBS and runners are Ms.Amirtha,Ms.Gayathri Devi,I CSBS .The sessions were highly informative, and participants were attentive, enthusiastic, and enjoyed the entire session.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a Technical event named WORKSHOP ON JAVA SPRING BOOT. Resource person of the guest lecture was Mrs.Sivagami.P Senior Associate Consultant, Infosys Ltd, Chennai on 13.03.2024 (Wednesday). This event aimed to enhance students knowledge in java spring boot. It was organized by the student coordinators Mr. G.Sankarapandian ,II CSBS and Ms. R.Guruvidhya, II CSBS. Faculty Coordinator Dr.S Erana Veerappa Dinesh ,ASP/CSBS took charge of the event and provided guidance. This workshop will help to improve both student technique and professional knowledge about an industrial view. And guest shared his experience and work atmosphere in industrial. A total of 55 students from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems participated in the event.

Event TECH DEMO was organized by the Department of CSBS on 16.12.2023 in CSBS Laboratory. Totally 16 students from First year and Second year CSBS students participated in this event. In the event, participants were divided as 8 groups and they were judged based on their Technical skills ,way of presentation and their creativity ideas skill. The event was organized by Student Event In-Charge Mr.HariharaSudhan of II CSBS , Ms.P.Keerthana of II CSBS , Mr.K.Pradeep of I CSBS and Ms. K.Ramya of I CSBS and guided by the faculty Coordinator Mrs.B.Yazhini. The winners of the event are Mr.Vignesh.R Mr.Sakthivel.R and Mr.Aravindraj.P, Mr.Sivakrishna.S and the runners of the event are Surabhi.R.S and Jayapradeepa.M. Both the winners and the runners are came up with the great ideas.

Event TRIVIA GAMES was organized by the Department of CSBS on 27.11.2023. Totally 52 students from First year and Second year CSBS students participated in this event. In the event, participants were divided as 12 groups and they were judged based on the three rounds like Rebus Puzzle,Connection and totally 2 teams were qualified for the final round Framing a story. They are judged based on their idea and skills in their creativity skill.
The event was guided and organized by the faculty coordinator Mrs.B.Yazhini AP/CSBS along with Student Event In-Charge Mr.K.Vijay of II CSBS , Ms.C.Sushma of II CSBS , Mr.M.Venkatesh of I CSBS and Ms. P.SivaRanjini of I CSBS. The TECHNEBIZ association organised a Technical event named MINDS UNFOLDED-POSTER DESIGNING on 18.11.202 (saturday) on the theme Awarness Created By Mobile Phones. This event enhanced students designing Skills. This event was organised by the student coordinators Mr. Sakthivel,II CSBS , Ms.Haritha II CSBS ,Mr.Manoj kumar I CSBS, Ms.Nithika sree I CSBS and Faculty Coordinator Dr. S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh take charge of this event and guided in a good manner. This event was conducted for both first and second year students. This event stick on to creating a awareness on mobile phones through posters. Participants creativity and making posters based on the theme given were welcomed. At the end of the event, all participants are assessed by decision of judges. Totally 26 students from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have participated in this event.The winner of the event are Rohit S, II CSBS and Dinesh Kumar B of I CSBS .The runner of the event are Kaviya N, I CSBS and Kousalya V, II CSBS.
The participants were provided with certificates.This event helps to participants will able to visually represent their information.The participants were attentive, enthusiastic and enjoyed the whole event.

The TECHNEBIZ association organised a Technical event named PANEL DISCUSSION on 1.11.2023 (wednesday) on the topic Virtual Reality is Better than Reality in Business World. This event enhanced students communication Skills. This event was organised by the student coordinators Mr. Arumugam,II CSBS , Ms.Kamatchi II CSBS ,Mr.Dineshkumar I CSBS, Ms. Gayathiri Dhevi I CSBS. And Faculty Coordinator Ms. K.Usharani take charge of this event and guided in a good manner. This event was conducted for both first and second year students. This event stick on to main discussion point and avoid going off on unrelated tangents. Participants different opinions and viewpoints based on the discussion were welcomed. At the end of discussion, all participants are assessed by asking open ended question to promote their views and exploration of ideas. Totally 17 students from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have participated in this event.
The participants were provided with certificates. The quality of the technical discussion presented at the event was exceptional. The sessions were very informative. The participants were attentive, enthusiastic and enjoyed the whole session.

The TECHNEBIZ association organised a Technical quiz event named SPATIAL SPARKS on 19.10.2023 (Thursday). It enhanced Technical Skills. The event was organised by Mr. Akash ,II CSBS , Ms.Gayathri meena II CSBS ,Mr.Bala Vignesh I CSBS, M.M.Harini I CSBS.The event was conducted for both first and second year students. The event is split up into two rounds based on the concepts on Java and Python programming. The first round is provided with 25 programming questions . each question carry one mark with no negative marking. Time allotted for this event is 1 hour. The students marks is calculated after the completion of the first round and the selected students were allowed to participate in the next round. Totally 49 students from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have participated in the event.
Finally after at the end of second round marks are validated and the results were announced .Ms.Keerthana P II CSBS , Mr.Santhosh G I CSBS won the first prize and Ms.Srijanani A II CSBS, Mr.Jason Esra I CSBS won the runner position. The winners and runners were provided with certificate. The quality of the technical content presented at the event was exceptional. The sessions were very informative. They were all attentive and enjoyed the whole session. This event was guided and organized by the faculty coordinator Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh AP/CSBS.

Website Development Contest was organized by the Department of CSBS on 22-09-2023. Second year CSBS students participated in this event. In the event, participants were asked to design a website individually based on their idea and interest to enhance their skills and portfolio. Participants can explained about the technology used for designing and also about the content in their designed websites. The participants will be judged based on their creativity, Technology used for designing and their content. The event was organized by Student Event In-Charge Mr.S.Sivakrishna and Ms. P.Keerthana. The winner of the event is Ms.RumanaNachiyar.M, the runner is Mr.Gopikaran.R. This event was guided and organized by the faculty coordinator Mrs.B.Yazhini AP/CSBS.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems TECHNIBIZ Association Inauguration Ceremony was organized on October 3rd at 11.00 am. The Chief Guest was Mr. R. Harikrishnan, Campus Recruitment , Hexaware Technologies, Chennai. He also delivered a Guest lecture on Career Development in Engineering. Totally 120 students were participated in this event.
Student Treasurer Mr. Gophikaran II-CSBS delivered the welcome speech. Chief Guest started the function with digital lamp flashing. Student Secretary Ms.Sanjanasree II-CSBS took the annual program of TECHNIBIZ Association. Head of the Department Dr. M.Gomathinayagam delivered the inaugural address and Assistant Professor Dr. Erenna Veerappa Dinesh who gave introductory speech about the Chief Guest. Training and Placement Officer Mrs. K.P. Uthra delivered the felicitation address. The chief guest was honoured by Dr. Vijayalakshmi Head of the department of Computer Science and Engineering. And final Vote of Thanks given by Ms.Nithikashree I-CSBS The event was successfully organised by the faculty in charge Mrs.B.Yazhini with the coordination and support of the Department Faculties and also by the students of the department of CSBS.

Events organized 2022-2023

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a Webinar on Data Structures in Business Analytics on 07.08.2023. Resource person of the webinar, Mr.Ganesan C, Senior consultant, Azure-Data engineer, Deloitte India, Chennai presented on the topic. He delivered his lecture on Need of Business Analytics and demonstrated the analytics using data analytic tools like Power BI on Zomato Food Delivery Dataset. Nearly 54 RIT Students and Faculty Participants from RIT have participated and got benefited. The Students actively participated in this webinar by asking their doubts to the speaker. This event motivated the students interest in data analytics domain. And also it enhanced their knowledge on data analytic tools and its need in industries. Ms.A.Sri Janani gave welcome speech and vote of thanks to Mr.Ganesan C. And Mr.S.Sivakrishna and Ms.Varshini.P I CSBS are the student coordinators of this webinar. It is coordinated by Ms.K.Usharani, AP/CSBS.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a technical event SPARKATHON on 31.05.2023. Totally 6 teams are participated in this event. Each team has two members. At first, a topic was given to each team and allotted one hour for preparing their ppt. After that, participants are present their ideas to the panel members. The winners were Mr. R.Sakthivel , Mr.P.Aravind Raj of I CSBS .The Runners are Mr.B.Arumugam, Mr.R.Vignesh of I CSBS. It has enhanced their learning, collaboration and innovative skills. The TECHNEBIZ of the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems Organized an event known as Connexion on 01.02.2023. The event was held at CSE Seminar Hall 2:30-4:00PM. This is a technical event; the participants are required to find out the word from the image clues displayed. Totally 10 teams of 5 students participated in the event. The students organizers Ms.G.Gayathrimeena, Ms.Kousalya, Mr.Gokul Arunkumarhave prepared questions of different levels(easy, medium, tough) for the event. The students actively participated in the event and they felt the questions were interesting and whole event was enjoyable. The event was coordinated by faculty member Mrs.T.Shruthi, AP/CSE under the guidance of Dr.K.Vijayalakshmi, HOD.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, RIT inaugurated the TECHNEBIZ association on 03.12.2022 (Saturday). Mr. S.Jeevanantha Raja, Project/Test Management Professional, Honeywell, Madurai, is the chief guest of the function and delivered the chief guest address and a motivational talk on Essentials of creative thinking. He also shared his experience as an project management. Totally 50 students of Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have participated in an Inaugural function. The office bearers of RIT-TECHNEBIZ were introduced. The event was organized by Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, AP under the guidance of Dr.K. Vijayalakshmi, prof. & Head/CSE. The students interacted with the speaker well and they felt the talk is much valuable and needed by every student. They were all attentive and enjoyed the whole session.

Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ organized a non-technical event Master Mind on 28.12.2022. Six teams of size three were formed. A 20-minute video was played, few questions were posed by briefly halting the video. The team members actively involved and correctly answer the questions. The video was purely non-technical. The winners were Mr. A.V. Arun,Mr. Balaji P, and Mr. Vijay K, I Year CSBS. It has enhanced their listening and reasoning skills. Ms.A.Sri Janani, and Mr.N.Anandha Bharathi, I Year CSBS conducted the event coordinated by Dr.I.Gethzi Ahila Poornima, AP.

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with RIT TECHNEBIZ Organized a non-technical event Technical Debate on 13.01.2023. Students are divided into two teams with a size of 10. The topic given for discussion is Technological development is good or bad for students. Points presented were accepted by the spectators with cheers and claps. Some of the points even made us think about the facts. Event Coordinators appreciated the students who made their point loud and clear. The event was organized successfully by I year CSBS students.
