Extension Programme Details
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, Ramco Institute of Technology organized Two-days event on GAME DEVELEOPMENT USING SCRATCH AND SNAP for X, XI, XII school students during 29.04.2024 & 30.04.2024. 92 school students of X, XI, and XII standards from various schools from in and around Virudhunagar district were registered and 38 school students were actively participated in this event. The session was handled by the internal faculty members, Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, ASP/CSBS, Mrs.K.UshaRani AP/CSBS, Mrs.B.Yazhini, AP/CSBS. The attendees gained knowledge about real-time game programming using Scratch and fundamental animation throughout the session on Day 1. Sample SNAP programs and how to use tools for designing games using SNAP was taught on second day of session. To ensure the knowledge and interest gained by the participants the online quiz was conducted and appreciated. The participants gave very good feedback about the session. E-certificates were also distributed to all the participants. The entire programme was coordinated by the student coordinators Mr.Vignesh.R ,II CSBS and Ms.Surabhi.R.S ,II Year CSBS under the guidance of Dr. M.Gomathy Nayagam, HOD/CSBS.

The session was handled by the internal faculty members Dr.M.Gomathy Nayagam HOD/CSBS, Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, AP/CSBS, Mr.K.Vignesh Saravanan, AP(SG)/CSE and Ms.G.Sakthi Priya, AP/CSE. The attendees gained knowledge about real-time game programming using Scratch and fundamental animation throughout the session. Quiz was also conducted at the end of the session for ensuring the knowledge gained by the participants. The participants gave very good feedback about the session. E-certificates were also distributed to all the participants. The entire programme was coordinated by the student coordinators R.Harikrishna and S.Shaly of I Year CSBS under the guidance of Dr.S.Erana Veerappa Dinesh, AP/CSBS and Dr. M.Gomathy Nayagam, HOD/CSBS.
